Oh I know them all too well!! You still may have your rough times, but you will get thru them. My recovery was great and so far no problems. I know I am lucky, as others have had some complications. That is awesome!! There are some that do phenomenal with the band, and that is great! It just wasn't a good fit for me either. I had a very hard time trying to get to that green zone and had problems with reflux every single night. I was sleeved on July 12, and am loving it. Wish I had done it sooner!! I was sleeved on July 12 (band to sleeve revision) by Dr. Krause out of Beaumont. He did my original band, band repair, gall bladder removal, and now the sleeve revision. I also had my band in 08. Revision to sleeve July 12. I had to go thru the same requirements for insurance approval for the revision as I would have if it were an initial surgery. 6 months dr/nutritionist appts & psych eval.
