  2. I'm on day 2 from surgery and I'm honestly starving... got protein shakes and water down with no problems. Hope my hunger subsides. Main reason I got this surgery was to eliminate how hungry I get after going too the gym.. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I was just released after getting my sleeve put in yesterday at 10am. I'm sore but it's manageable. I wanna let everybody in on something. Everything is great until u wake up from anaesthesia. Upon waking up I don't care who you are it's shocking. I felt like I got ran over by a mack truck. The pain is bad and u really can't move for 5-6 hours with IV's and monitors hooked up too you. But don't worry it only goes up from there. My temperature was high until this morning so my doctor decided to release me. I'm now at home and resting which is way better than being stuck in the hospital confined. My abdominal region is very sore. From what I heard and read every day improves drastically. Just be prepared for the day of surgery that is by far theeee worst day. It's only up from here. Just remember this is a major surgery on a major organ so healing is done from the inside out. Good luck to everybody and I'm looking forward to seeing how everybody's surgery went. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. Everybody in October ... What are you guys hearing about recovery ? I have a comedy show I wanna go to that's exactly a week after my surgery date. I hope I'll be able to go. Hodgetwins are the funniest humans on the planet . Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I big deciding factor for me was I am 37 and the only con I can see to not go thru with the surgery is I can't binge eat anymore or drink alot of beer. 2 things I've already done for 20 years. Now I combatted alot with countless hours in the gym but with really no gains or changes cause of my bad eating/drinking habits. So now I've realized how miserable I am FAT and can't imagine living the rest of my life trapped in my body. That's how I know surgery is the right decision for me. I've already lost 35 lbs and have huge goals I wanna accomplish. I dream and Aim high. And honestly they'res no reason we all can't get the life we all envision. I keep reading everybody is on liquid only diets for 2 weeks and alot about enlarged livers. My surgeon mentioned none of that. If this helps understanding my situation my SW=280 and my CW=245 I'm a 37 yr old very active male. Just getting a lil nervous reading all this Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. It's a long process at least 6 MOS, you won't have surgery for 8 mos at the least. You have to get a ton of clearance from other doctors and have to lose 5% of your body weight. I'm scheduled for surgery on Oct 5th and it took me a year too get thru the process. Hopefully will all be worth it in the end. Good luck Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
