  1. My surgery is scheduled for February 8th. When I started this last year my weight was 262. By the time I was done with classes I was down to 252. I have quit smoking since September and now back up to 258. Has anybody had some weight gain but still not over your top weight and still had surgery? I'm scared the surgeon is going to cancel. Yes I am still working at losing.
  2. I have UHC and I needed 6 consecutive DIETICIAN visits. Check to make sure if it is dietician or just plain doctor documented visits you need. I was told at one time by UHC that I could do 2 in one month. That was incorrect so I had to do 2 extra visits. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
  3. Ugh!! When I started the process my hospital called the insurance company to find out what I needed to do. I was told 6 nutritionist visits. Since they did not specify months or just visits I emailed UHC and asked. I had to take 12 weeks of group therapy for the hospital and the first week of the month was with the nutritionist in group. So would one group visit a month plus a one on one visit count? I have an email confirmation from UHC that as long as it's coded nutritionist for group, which it is, that 2 visits a month would be fine. Now the hospital contacted me and said I need to do 2 more months of visits. Has anybody had this happen and fought it? Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
