  1. I had the gastric bypass done.
  2. Im 3 years post op. 30 years old. Went from 320 - 190-200...but now im back to 226 because of poor eating choices. Trying to get the weight losing again and not repeating history.
  3. I'm 3 years out and still have weird periods. At least once a year I miss an entire month like I just did in August. However, I must say, since having the surgery, my periods are beautiful. Really light and only lasting 4-6 days unlike before where it would last for 2 weeks and be really heavy. The only thing I feel now more are the cramps which I never did before.
  4. So true. I went from 320 to 190-200ish and now im right back at 226. Im 3 years post op. Gained from super crappy eating choices *bangs head on desk*.
  5. No absolutely not. Fresh organic fruits and vegetables are amazing for your body. Cooking them removes most of the benefits from it. As far as protein, if you are looking for plant based options...some include lentils, Beans, spinach, chickpeas, etc. Plenty of options.
  6. Hey everyone! I am three years post op and decided to become a vegan early this month. I'm slowly transitioning all my things to vegan friendly, but im a little stumped on the supplements. Does anyone know of any Iron, Multivitamin, and/or other supplements or brands that are vegan friendly? (please no horse sized supplements) Thank you kindly in advance.
