  6. They told me what I was going to change. It's not as easy for me as it is for you it seems. I hope you don't have to feel the regret some of us do Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm in no way saying it's easy. I haven't even gotten there yet. All I'm saying is that I am trying to do everything I can ahead of time to prepare. Whether that be making sure I have the best support team or getting counseling. I am aware that all the preparation in the world may still not help me once I am actually where you are today. But do know there are great people on here who have been there and can give out wonderful advice. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App They told me what I was going to change. 7. I'm still pre-op and I am well aware of what I am doing. What kind of program did you go through? They didn't discuss what changes you would need to make? These are things I am trying to change now before surgery. I am expecting to feel miserable right after as well since it's a shock to the system, but once I embrace my choice and know this is a lifetime commitment, I am sure I will wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Best of luck to you and hopefully this will pass. I suggest seeking a therapist to help you get to the bottom of your food issues. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. mr1121 - can they decline you if you smoke?? My program will decline you if you smoke. They even do a test before surgery to determine if there is nicotine in your system. They made sure they stressed this fact at the seminar I attended. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I really think I am part camel! I have the hardest time trying to get enough water! It's not that I dislike it, but can't seem to get into a rhythm with it. On the days that I really keep track I feel like all I am doing is drinking every second. What are some tips on getting more Water in? I was going to buy one of those water bottles with the measurements on the side so I can see how I am doing throughout the day. Anything that can help me get more in!
