it is a very high percentage of people who regain all the weight loss from weight loss surgery within 5 years, yes the first 18 months you cannot eat a ton but give it a few years and you will be able to eat like before. it is really a mind thing!

I would be scared of a surgeon willing to do surgery on you when if you lost 30 pounds you would be in a normal bmi. normally surgery is for people with close to 100 to loose. I'm sure you know that though, but maybe consider another method I would hate for you to undergo a major surgery to loose 30 pounds

my surgery is on the 22nd I'm on day 5 of my two week diet, in Canada they make us do opti fast.... you have no idea how awful it tastes all I want to do is eat something but I haven't cheated and won't. hopefully the rest of the 9 days goes by fast!!

my bmi is 36 they made me do two weeks I'm in Canada so I do opti fast(4 packs a day), and one cup of broth a day, I'm on day 5.. I can tell you head hunger sucks it's a battle everyday. but there is light at the end!

they told me I will be on full liquids for 2 weeks, I am able to have cream soups strained, broth , sugar free Jello, sugar free pudding, juice mixed with Water, oatmeal thinned with milk.

also allowed yogurt, they gave me a booklet of everything in allowed I have surgery September 22
