    DEEP, DEEP HUNGER

I am 5 weeks post op. I found that when I was a week out from Aunt Flo's visit, my hunger and cravings were terrible! But it wasn't any different than pre surgery PMS, other than I knew I needed to control it. I kept myself as physically occupied as I was able to, chewed SF gum and drank Water like a fish. 2. Well...I'm just at the beginnings of my weight loss, but in a conversation I had with my surgeon, he said once you hit your low, it's not uncommon to see a regain of about 10%, whos is where you're body will stay. I'd venture to guess this may be what has happened to you? Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Staple Line Pian

I am 2.5 weeks post op and having staple line pain, which began last night. It feels similar to a sore muscle kind of pain. I am on a stage 3 diet and was told I could have toasted whole wheat bread. I tried that last night, and worried I may have food hung up in my line. Hoping my new stomach will eventually digest it. I'm going back on full liquids today, longer if needed. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do about it? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Staple Line Pian

I guess unless you've experienced it, you wouldn't know what I'm talking about. It's not a pain, such as an incision, it's more of a sore muscle feel. I'm assuming I have food stuck in my line and asking others that have experienced similar, to offer their tips for releasing it. Each of our surgeons puts us on different programs. Mine seems to have rushed my food stages in comparison to what I've read others are doing at the same post op or farther out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Does VSG typically increase heartburn

I had frequent heartburn prior to my sleeve and no heartburn since. BUT...I did have a hiatal hernia repaired during my sleeve procedure. My surgeon told me I may not experience heartburn...so far, so good! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
