    This is fabulous! I needed to hear this--it's not pretty but spot on--as an emotional eater and "not enough time" to exercise, I realize that's what I need to change.     I am fairly new here. I just got my surgery date April 26! I go for egd this Friday and ekg next Tuesday. This means I start my pre-op diet this Sunday oh well, I've had a lot of Easter Sunday dinners --missing one won't be the end of the world.     Which type diabetes do you have? Because if you're type 1, you will have to continue to take insulin. I have heard of those with type 2 not having to take meds anymore.

    I started my journey 8/22/16 I just got approved on 3/14/17. I have attended my required nutrition class and am waiting to schedule an appoint with my surgeon to set my surgery date!! I am so ready to get this over and done so I can get healthy!
