I am scheduled for 3/19, have to go for final medical clearance on 3/3 and pre op visit with surgeon on 3/6 surgery with Dr. Gail Wynn, Newark, DE good luck to all

I am going to Dr. Gail Wynn here in Newark, DE. I have heard nothing but positive responses from those who have had her do their surgery. I am looking forward to 3/19 for the next chapter in my life..a change for the better, healthier life

So far all is going well, all appts finished, going for medical clearance Monday, 3/3, and the pre surgery appt, 3/6, only thing waiting for is clearance from Pulmonology, have to set up with CPAP and then clearance will go through.....:eek:

that type of pain is what was just discussed at my support group. between the beer alone can cause gas and with the band it is even worse. I would agree, stay off the beer and watch quantity you eat at each "meal". All doctor seem to have their own regimen of after surgery "meals" so i would follow that and good luck:huh2:

my insurance requires 6 months of consecutive supervised weight loss with pcp, and in that time there was EKG, stress test, echocardiogram, pulmonology clearance, and the most fun a endoscopy with the GI DR. My medical clearance is scheduled for 3/3, pre op on 3/6 ans surgery on 3/19,,, as long as insurance says yes...

My medical clearance is my last step before pre=op... I had to see cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, psychology, have 6 months doctor regulated weight loss all before that point....now waiting for insurance clearance....crossing my fingers all clears through for surgery date of 3/19. I am told all they do is go over all the lab work, and other test done by each doctor.....

I am scheduled for March 19, barring any difficulty with insurance approval, like eveyone else I am excited, nervous and can't wait..:biggrin:
