  1. Katy - keeping you in my thoughts
  2. Oh My God... SO do I.. never even gave that a thought!! And for how many years have I just dreamed that I would be at this point.. So much has happened in the past year for all of us.. WTG Shamrocks
  3. Victoria Secret, the best thing to put them back where they belong. Amazing!!!! WTG Fenton
  4. size wise not sure if I am lopsided or not, top 14/16 or large, almost a medium bottom, 12, it could be a 10 maybe an 8, if not for the excess flab!!! Just totally excited about my new body. I can hardly believe it looks this way, for so long it was just a big, round, fat blob. Pushing to lose another 5-10 by bandaversary, but having a rough go at it. Stable at same weight for almost 6 weeks.. Exercise on a somewhat regular basis..
  5. I think the CLAW needs to pay me a visit and give me a boost to get back on track..
  6. my word on Greek Yogurt - I love it. It is a bit thicker than regular ygurt and has a little bit of a different texture. I find it in the regular yogurt section at the groery store. What is nice is it has almost double the Protein content of typical yogurt products. I enjoy the blueberry and vanilla OSIO brand there is also a brand called Faz.. I think that is it. It is a bit costly as compared to othes, but well worth it, I try to stock up if it goes on sale..
  7. Very well said, I totally agree. we are all here to help eat other reach the best point we can
  8. Fenton - great interview and a great updated pic. A slimmer version of your original shot HELP... still not able to eat more than 1/4 cup of solid foods, meats are tough to get more than 3 or 4 bites in. I am going to go back to protein shakes/drinks for a few days to get all my protein in, No weight loss in close to 3 weeks..even with the difficulty getting food in. Doctor appt on the 17th so we will have a discussion of my issues!!
  9. So much going on for everyone. Got out today and took the dog to the dog park. He wasn't too sure about so many big dogs running free. He is a slight 9.5# miniature poodle.. Not sure how my eating will go this week. no frig for food. waiing for repairman to get back with the part... UGH.. Hope to mange well, but will be buying out each day.. Holding at tha same weight for more than a month..a bit frustrated, but glad not to be gaining.
  10. another week of no loss.... holding steady.. WTG for everyone else that is having continued losses..
  11. on the subject of fish/seafood - I have to say I don't think there is anything out there I haven't tried. I love scallops and flounder. monk fish is good too. I find the denser fish to be a bit difficult to get down: tuna, swordfish. Everyone has different tastes and ways to cook. I usually bake or broil. And craband lobster, but the $$$ of those make it a treat to have them occassionally
  12. BRRRRRRRRR,,, does anyone else seem to have an issue with cold weather and restriction., It seems the cold weather has made eating tough at times.. Eating more soft foods lately.. I know it is not good, but everything else gets stuck after a few small bites.
  13. Katy - sooooooooooooo sorry to hear about all of the issues you are having. Hang in there. Thinking of you.
  14. WTG Fenton!!!!! Lots of issues with PBing.. not sure why, unless stress and cold weather. My daughter did move out Saturday, now I am busy getting my place back to how I want it for myself. Back to the doctor on 2/17.. no fill for sure..but lots of discomfort around the port area. not sure if it is from some of the equipment at the gym or something else. Oh. well. I keep myself busy and try to stay out of trouble!!!! shouldn't we all do the same.. OOPS.. sorry, new man in my life so I tend to get into trouble!!!!
  15. going to the gym - treadmeill is 3.5 incline with 3.5 mgh I do start holding on, but let go after I get going. Bicycle is also part of the workout, as is the elliptical.. then onto the weights and the machines, usually a good 1.5 hour workout with new things added every so often. I feel great when I am done, but have to push myself to get through the workout.. No suuper bowl game or snacks for me. I had my grandson and we were watching "his" shows.. I am too old for these kid shows... Enjoy the day everyone.
  16. WOW, 6 hernias. I had a rather large hiatel hernia repaired at time of surgery and now have a smaller one, but in a totally different area. THey say it does not need surgery at this time, but I still feel it. Good luck with the test today
  17. PS is also in my future. In fact I went for a consult a month ago.. Right now I am concentrating on toning.. As much as possible. And yes, those big mirrors are eye opening.. I do find myself being more confortable trying clothes on in a store, rather than the 2 trips, to take things home, try them on and do returns. Even with the dressing room mirrirs :w00t: My daughter and grandson are moved out to their own place. It seems strange, so quiet at home, but I am enjoying it>>
  18. no gain, no loss, just holding steady for another week off to the gym after work, and hopefully tomorrow. Have a great weekend everone. Congrats to all on the continued losses
  19. Another week of no loss, but then again no gain either STRESS is rampant, feeling it in my band. eating is tough...but am trying to take small amounts and more protein drinks to get in the protein. My daughter and grandson are moving to their own place this weekend and the house is in turmoil.. looking forward to peace and quiet soon.. Have a great weekend everyone..
  20. STRESS, feel lousy.. tightness in my band. my daughter is moving out t5his weekend and things are crazy. I am glad she will be out on her own. she and her son need to have their own place..but the chaos is killing me No gain or loss for this week, once again. but I'll take it.
  21. I AM going to the gym tonight. forget about icy, roads and sleet. I will get there and get my work out in.. Fenton - Hawaii, am I jealous. I have never been any further than the mid west. Dredding the weigh in on Friday!!:cursing:
  22. congrats - Long As for water. I was drinking about 1/2 cup liquid every 30 minutes the first few days. Slowly of course, but no problems. now I drink about 60-80 ounces a day..in addition toi my meals and snacks
  23. Thanks for the kick, Fenton Today is another day. Looking to make better choices and get myself back in the groove Cold, ice and rain this morning. so much fun!!
  24. Good news about getting something to help you through this. There is a nasty intestinal virus going around, it had my daughter out of commission for almost 4 days. THank goodness no one else got it.. Hope you fell better soon
  25. I am in deperate need of a kick in the A$$. Can't get myself motivated to eat the right things. I have restriction, but making poor food choices.. H-E-L-P
