  1. When in puréed stage, did anyone use baby food or do u think it would have too much sugar. Also, I'm seeing different diets for many people. What week post surgery were you able to have more than just clear liquid and Protein shakes? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. I lost 15 my first week but it's because I'm unable to get anything down. I would much rather do it the slower route and not feel so miserable and weak! It takes everything out of me to shower! I too was discouraged at first because I came out of the hospital weighing more than when I went in for the surgery. And for days didn't lose a thing! It all happened over night. Once I started urinating frequently and with ease, the weight started going. Unfortunately, in the process I believe I've dehydrated myself. Better to do it the healthy way. It will come off, let your body come out of the shock and confused state it's in right now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I was sleeved 5 days ago. Had no issues at all, surgery went great, 5 days out and pain is mild. Don't even take pain relievers anymore as of yesterday. Only problem is, I don't want anything. Not Water, not juice and definitely not protein! It took me 3 days to get down one snack pack of Jello. I managed to get 20 oz of diluted organic apple juice yesterday and no Protein. Today I forced down a Protein shake made extra strong. One scoop of protein to 3 oz of water. It was awful but I did It. But still, that's only 16g of protein so I'm Dreading the fact that I have to do it a few more times today. I felt so weak yesterday I knew I had to choke something down. Anyone got any tips to make this protein more appetizing? I thought about freezing it for a ice cream like treat? Up side is I've lost 15 lbs in these 5 days! I go back to work in 3 days and can't imagine working with this extreme weakness I feel! Any advice would help! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
