  2. I was on clear liquids for two weeks after surgery, then full liquids for two weeks, then pureed foods for two week, before moving on to soft foods like eggs. That being said, it sounds as if your blood sugar is getting low. We're you diabetic before your surgery and are you still taking your meds for it? You might want to check your blood sugar levels when this happens. Also, your doctor can prescribe some kind of acid reducer that you can hold under your tongue. That was a huge help for me.
