  3. I met with my bariatric surgeon today and got some good info. I will be a high risk pregnancy but if I do exactly what I'm supposed to do everything should be ok. I can't take birth control due to other medical issues I've had, we were using the calendar method but I think we missed something lol but I feel a lot better now after talking to the surgeon and she assured me I will keep losing weight and the baby will be fine if I just follow a strict diet. 4. I had gastric bypass July 27th and just found out I'm about 6 weeks pregnant. I'm pretty nervous because I've been struggling to eat enough to keep me healthy nevermind sustaining a healthy pregnancy. Anyone else have any experience with a pregnancy shortly after WLS? Also I'm scared my weight loss will stop and not start up again. Idk there are so many things freaking me out. Not to mention this is baby number 4 and my last one will be one in December lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. I have UHC and they said it depends on your employer if they chose this procedure as a covered benefit. Mine happened to cover it so it was very easy for me to get approved, I went to a seminar, saw a bariatric dr, got approval from my primary dr, then saw a nutritionist 3 times and I was all set. The office of my bariatric dr submitted everything, I didn't even have to deal with the insurance company at all. Good luck!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Anyway I can get that link? I don't have a computer and I had my surgery 11 days ago and want to update my info. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. OMG I'm right there with you! I'm 11 days out and since like day 4 I've been a mess wanting to eat, I didn't think in a million years it would be this annoying and frustrating to not eat. I know it'll be better soon and I can't wait for that cause this is awful. I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying to stay positive. I'm down 10lbs so far so I just try to focus on that. I'm a big meat eater too and that's been the hardest, I would do unmentionable things for some hamburger lol but soon enough, soon enough. We got this!!
