Hello everyone.! I am still in the pre-op early phase. I've met with the surgeon last week 07/21/16. I start my first month of my 6 month waiting period required by my insurance in 2 weeks. 6 months seems like such a long time but I will be patient and absorb all the information and advice that will help prepare me for this life change. Any advice from those who had/have to wait 6 months or longer on how to remain patient and what to do in the meantime would be great.! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi.! I am just starting out as well. I just had my consultation with the surgeon last week. My insurance requires 6 months MSWL as well with my first appointment counting in August.
