  1. you will get nothing but support here!! Thanks for sharing your story and good luck with you FUTURE weight loss! You can do it!! We are all doing it together.
  2. it is understandable that sometimes it is hard to find the port entry on the first try, however, i would not accept more than two tries!! Also, you need to request a little lidocaine to ease the discomfort. Sorry you had to endure that. :drool:! The lidocaine made a world of difference to me!!
  3. i thought the same thing before the band basically, my doctor told me that right after the surg. it is just a healing phase. don't worry about weight loss in the very beginning . Your tummy needs to heal after surgery. I had the protein shakes that were watered down alot, broth (just sipped on it), and water. You are not going to be malnourished in a week. Try not to worry about it, like I did, really, in the end it's so worth it.
  4. i ate... and ate... Did ok though , i didnt' gain like i thought i might. Doing great w/the band now.
