  1. Hi All, I'm new to this Board, but I was banded in October of 2005. Woohoo! Unfortunately, my band has been giving me some problems for a while, and it looks like it may have slipped. I have a barium swallow next week, and we'll know more then. But, I'm pretty sure its slipped. So, here's my callout...anyone out there in Utah slipped before? The benefit is not covered by insurance (it'd be a MIRACLE if something changed and they covered the surgery) so I'll be paying out of pocket. Can anyone out there give me an idea of how much this repair usually runs? I have the same doctor as a lot of you (Dr Hansen). Thanks! Kim
  2. Hi Dr C, It's starting to look like my band has slipped - I know for sure in a couple of days (once I have the Barium swallow). Could you give me a range of how much a repair surgery costs? Thanks!
