  1. I know that having this band is simple, but harder than I thought. I know that I will succeed in loosing the weight this time. I know that I am not patient. I know that I feel much better being 46 pounds lighter than I was. I know that I cannot do this alone. I know that food is my enemy. I know that even if I fall off the wagon today, tomorrow is a new day. What do you know for sure? Kim
  2. Hi. Yes, the gas pain is normal for some people. I had it for the first couple of days post op. One of the things suggested to me that helped is GasX strips that you put on your mouth and they dissolve. It helps the gas go away. Also, walk a LOT...that helps. Good luck.
  3. Thanks for all the advice. I called my doctor on Friday morning and she made me come in right away for an unfill. She took out 1cc and I felt much better. Although I did lose 5lbs in one week, but she said I would probably gain it back since it was water!!!! Ugh... Thanks for the support.
  4. Hi, I was banded on 2/20/08. I have been lurking on the site since, but would like advice. I had my first fill on Monday morning. My doctor recommends a couple of days of liquids and a couple of days of mushies after a fill. I have done that but have had a very hard time getting even the mushies down. A couple of bites AT MOST! Is this normal? I also have the sliming every time I try to eat anything. Any advice would be great! Thanks. 224/204/150
