Having second thoughts about waiting
If you can afford to financially then why wait? I was in a similar position. I had the option of having my sleeve on July 19 or 30th November. Although it made sense financially to wait I was so ready and I don't regret it at all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Truth
I had 2 weeks pre op diet of 3 Protein shakes and unlimited broth. I didn't cheat at all. I had my surgery 12 hours ago and apart from some shoulder pain from the gas I feel amazing! Best of luck, you can do this! I found the first 2 days and the last 4 days the hardest but in the middle it was fairly easy Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

CALLING ALL JULY 2016 SLEEVERS
I had my surgery 12 hours ago and I am relieved that there's been no pain except for the gas pain in my shoulders. I literally asked them did they do anything or just knock me out and wake me up again lol. As soon as I was able to walk (about 4 hours after I woke up) I even went and checked in the mirror! I handled water really well, just remember the small sips! And I've been moved onto the clear fluid phase. I just want to reassure people who are nervous about the pain and I pray that you have a smooth ride like I have so far! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

July 19! Anyone else?
I am feeling pretty good. I've hardly had any cravings and when I have had them it's been for savoury things which is odd as I am usually a sweet tooth. The hunger hasn't been too bad. The only thing is that I've been really tired. I am pretty excited but nervous too! How are you going? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm so hungry! (pre-op diet)
I am on day 10 of the liquid diet. The first 2 days I found the hardest. Whenever I get hungry or have cravings I just think about how much I need this surgery and how in a few months time I will feel so much better that this time won't really even matter. Have you written a list of why you are doing this? I have, things like sore back, sore knees etc and I refer to it whenever I am struggling. You can do this, just ask for support whenever you need it X Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
