  1. Hi I had sleeve surgery on Feb 3. Everything has been going good. Had the flu a couple of weeks ago and that wasn't fun but over it except for a lingering cough. Three days ago I woke up to pain high in my diaphragm Whenever I drink it hurts when it hits my pouch and then I burp and it feels a little better. Same thing with soft foods and I can't eat non soft foods at all and have no appetite at all when before I did. I have a call in to my doctor but thought I would see if anyone has experienced anything similar. Oh and I do not have my gallbladder. Thanks for any insight [emoji3] HW 256 SW 240 CW 201

  3. Sorry I shouldn't have said preop. I am just on my 4th out of 6 nut visits and haven't done well this month and wanted to try to lose a few before my apt Wednesday. Some have recommended a liquid diet but I thought I would check here. I understand I need to get on the "stick" but just wanted to get past this apt. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. I am just starting this process and just had an orientation tonight. They said no carbonated drinks forever. This kind of hit me. I like a diet pop here and there but water is def my main beverage. They said that also included beer. Not that pop and beer and more important to me but just wondering if you are being told these same things. Thanks ! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I am ignorant to all of this and just starting the process but I think I have to take a week of PTO and then short term disability kicks in at 60%. What is the advantage to FMLA? That they have to keep your position for you ? Does it affect how much you get paid while off? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
