Two most interesting articles I have found. My SO has horrible knee pain, so that's what got my attention about this.

Desiree24 reacted to acm21_ in Marijuana and Life after Bariatric SurgeryI'm not dependent on it, I just use it when the pain is unbearable. It's quite fascinating to read. Thank you for tagging me in this!!! Tell your SO- I can so relate!

Desiree24 reacted to acm21_ in Marijuana and Life after Bariatric SurgeryI was wondering about this same thing. I have arthritis in my knee as well as an torn ACL, and I occasionally smoke marijuana when the pains come in my knee. I don't experience having the munchies, I usually eat one thing after and I am all set. What are your thoughts on this?

Desiree24 reacted to Petunia1 in Marijuana and Life after Bariatric SurgeryI am 4 months post op and i smoke weed every day . I started 2 weeks post op . I don't get the munchies I feel it's something mental and I can control it . It relaxes me and it's just something I choose to do. It hasn't affected me in any way I am 70 + lbs down . So that's my experience and my opinion and everyone is entitled to one

Desiree24 reacted to cockapoomom in Marijuana and Life after Bariatric Surgery@@jadama22 Post op day one and two: I was in so much pain and uncomfortable that I inhaled two "puffs" from my vaporizer of some good kush and it helped immediately with the pain. However, because you will just have had anesthesia and your lungs will be weak, I would advise to use discriminately.
It did not make me hungry.

Please be kind to each other on this site - aren't all of us trying to stay positive about perhaps the hardest things we have ever done? I know I am. I come to this site for inspiration and answers - not to read others being negative about others' choices. Be respectful please. You don't have to agree with what others do, but no need to hate. This is hard enough.
