Thank you... has been a crazy journey so far. I understand the craziness involved, luckily I didn't have that bad of an ordeal. Just wait, you'll soon be celebrating your first "bandiversary" and you won't beleive how fast it all flew by.

Mine is Dr. Geller out of Norton Suburban in Louisville. He did my surgery 7/3/07... I dont necessarily agree with the way he does fills but other than that I like him.

My clothes are so ridiculously huge (some 26/28 and now wear a 20)... and it makes me feel so sloppy... not to mention makes me feel bad when people say,"Wearing those makes you look bigger." But you know what - I'm just happy the clothes are big and hanging off of me than tight like they were!

Hi my name is Kelly... I'm 23 and live in Louisville. I was banded on July 3rd, 2007 by Dr. Geller. So far I've lost 61.8 pounds since my surgery and 87.8 from my highest. It is still difficult for me to believe that I weigh 227 now... And it's even harder not to cringe when people say, "Hi Skinny!" I was still married when I was banded. My marriage of almost two years was already shaky before that (we were together almost five years)... but I just couldn't believe when he would eat horrible things around me, smoke around me... I had quit smoking one month before my surgery and he couldn't seem to stop blowing it in my face. Question... has this affected anyone else's marriage in a negative way and brought serious problems to the forefront? Unfortunately I feel now as though I was settling and had married him so young because I was afraid no one else would ever want to marry me....
