I'm a nurse practitioner, but I own my own practice and run my own patients. So I'm day 7 post op and I'm going back Monday. I'm ready. I feel great. That being said I don't pull and lift on people like I did when I was a nurse working the floors. If that were the case i would probably say 2 full weeks, same as my gall bladder. Just wanted to check in! VSG on July 14th. So post op day 3. No pain meds since 2 am the morning after surgery while I was still in the hospital. Did have some vomiting during my first night home... That hurt bad!! Right now my biggest complaint is my hugely swollen uvula, that is gagging me every time I swallow or speak. Working on getting my liquids in. Hello all! Just had my sleeve yesterday. All went mostly well! I haven't been hungry since waking up so that's a relief! I do have terrible diarrhea (tmi) but at least I'm not on the other end of things. Awaiting my discharge as we speak!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
