  1. I too had a consultation with Dr. C.. he was very thorough and very knowledgable. He trained under the person who started doing the lapband here in the US... from what I understood in his presentation. My husband and I are both 95% sure we are getting the lapband from Dr. CAvazos. The best thing I can say is get a notepad and write down EVERY question you can think of, no matter how silly or redundent it may sound. This is YOUR life and there is nothing silly about being 100% informed before making such a big decision.
