  1. I'm only doing the 6month diet.. Do they have a reset for that?! Haha #WouldLove2Know
  2. I hear ya! I keep all my appointments in my phone calender with alerts to remind me.. I have at least 3 appts. A week including whatever else... Smh Good luck to you!
  3. *My feelings are hurt. I gained 3 pounds already since Thanksgiving. I was two pounds from goal and now I have to lose the damn pounds again. Smh I'm tired of my s**t and the roller coaster. * Gotta do better... Start measuring my ingredients in my home cooked meals because I've never paid it any mind..Now it matters. Back on the success train now. Thanks for reading. Lol K Bye
  4. Molina will allow it. I don't know of anyone else who will.. Getting every single one of your appts. close together (especially now with the whole New Year New Me attitude everyone has) its gonna be a bit harder in some places. Im doing it right now. Its hard to get closer appts at the surgeons office.. But not the regular ones.. Probably need to just go ahead and ask your insurance if they are down with it. ☺
  5. I'm struggling with this also... So annoying. Smh
  6. My understanding is that it depends on your insurance.. theres one in particular that wont tolerate a gain at all. ( Like donot pass go donot collect $200 dollars lol) Others look at your starting and ending weight.. taking in consideration that we have hormonal fluctuations etc. but you CANNOT go over your starting weight AT ALL.
  7. There are many of you here! Its hard to catch up!!!! Hows everyone doing this far?!? I'm so exhausted with all these appointments.. I just met the PA-C and now awaiting my appointments to met the social worker and dietician. Getting closer and closer ( I hope ) lol
  8. I'm definitely excited about finally working to heal myself from poor self image. I've been a prisoner of this as long as I can remember... to be aligned mentally and physically sounds amazing!! #excited
  9. I definitely want RNY also. I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  10. Yeah it IS alot to take in..I've been wanting this forever and would buckle at the knees when I looked at the price tag. Smh I'm super happy for everyone. Just a simple approval to do the diet is a huge deal after countless stories of deserving people being denied. Ya know? Very grateful indeed.. I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  11. I haven't attended seminar or met the surgeon at UW yet...thats in a few weeks. Wondering which of the procedures they'll end up recommending for me etc. Did anyone choose their own procedure or did the surgeon choose what he felt was best for you? I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  12. Did you knock out yours less than 6 months? I have yet to find many people who were fast tracked after completing half of their visits. I would love to do that.. I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  13. Wow your life is pretty eventful!! Congrats on both of your journeys! Are you hoping to get sleeved/rny etc. during summer break? What are you majoring? I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.

  15. Very awesome! I was approved in August and I'm barely finishing month one.. I've got all my appt. close together so I can hopefully finish everything by mid november! Otherwise I'd be finished about February.. congrats on your stage 2 approval! ! I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time. Thank you. It seems like we pretty much have the same timeline which is pretty neat. I hope things go really smoothly for you. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App I appreciate that! Same for you! Patience is everything at this point... I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  16. Bethany, do you know if small weight fluctuations are counted against you? I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  17. I get it for sure.. after watching alot of surgery vlogs and etc. I've quickly learned that this time is certainly not a burden.. it a time to learn and educate yourself. There's a wealth of experiences I've read and watched that made me look at this decision from a realistic prospective which is good.. because I really didn't know I was going into this naive in a way.. ya know. It's gonna test our strength in multiple ways! We must be prepared! Lol I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  18. Your doctor will refer you to a mental health clinic.. and everything else bc they all have auth. numbers necessary to be seen. (Medical necessity ). I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.

  20. Wow you've been on your journey for a bit! No worries.. there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing doesn't happen for any of us until it is OUR time. Everyone has a season! Your season is approaching! I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  21. I've just began as well.. I feel like I have an appointment for something every week as of now.. its crazy! But I'm super excited to have gotten the ball rolling now. I've started the NUT visits and psych visits..waiting to get the word on PT. They haven't called to schedule me yet.. they better get busy and call me so this month will count! I have no problem ringing their line! Haha I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  22. I'm hoping for June 2017. I'm off in the Summer, and i want to be sure I have LOTS of recovery time Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App Are you a teacher/professor? Or working for a school district? Asking bc you said you are off all summer.. You have a bit of time ahead of you as well. Have decided on which of the procedure you want? I'm still on the fence.. one day sleeve another bypass. Smh probably decide once I meet with the surgeon.. Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App I am apre-school teacher in a private school. I am definitely going for the sleeve. I don't want the bypass. I have read great things about the sleeve!! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App Awesome! !!! I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  23. Awesome!! Speedy recovery hunn! I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time.
  24. I definitely understand the half running.. at my hospital (like many hospitals), us respiratory therapists are usually clear on the other side of the hospital or in dungeon. Lol.. so we usually have to hall ass to every emergency! Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
