im in ct and have medicaid they required 6 mo with a dietian and 3 support groups attendence along with pulmonary cardiac clearence and if you are diabetic i was required to have an aic under 7 for approval the process took me 14 month i started in april of 2015 and was sleved on june 6 2016
im 8 wks today and also have stalled in weight loss i was 348 at my presurgery apt and this sat was at 301 i am so tired every day as well and am having a hard time getting in exercise because i too go to bed at 9 pm and up at 5 and so tired weekends i also nap so im going to my 8 wk post op tomarrow morning and going to see if this is normal or not
I had problems with Protein shakes and then switch to Isopure protein and it was very light weight and i love it im 7 wks post op june 6 i was sleved and am eating most soft foods on the soft food list as you hit 6 wks 7 wks you should feel like eating real food again but i can only eat about 2 oz of turkey or tuna i can t handle chicken for some reason and i had to up my protein from 75g to 100 because i went through a small stall.

Hi I am a new slever as well has surgery on june 6 2016 and from ct i have lost 14 since surgery but a total of 30 since may 29th im interested in getting into contact with someone who might be at the 2 mo to 6 mo mark
i had surgery on june 6 2016 and have lost 30 pounds but this past week i only lost 1 pound so i am not happy with that so i m glad to hear that a stall is normal im still not able to eat much and had to go back to mostly Protein shakes cause i could not handle yougurt and much food at all i am eating one meal a day but still doing alot of liquids and eggs im getting in about 600 to 800 calories and 75 grams of protein im hoping the stall will pass soon but i am also going to up my activity and walking more
i was instructed to do Protein shakes at like day 4 post op i did have to switch to a light weight which i got a GNC called Isopure really like it taste good but i cant do anymore than 4 ozs at a time
