  14. I totally understand, when I had mine I was on my own, I know exactly what you are going through. I will be your support hun, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
  15. Sarah if you would like to talk I'm here hun. No one should go through what you are going through. My surgeon is truly a blessing, he cares so much. Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
  16. My surgeon did not have me or any of his other patients loose weight before surgery. The heaviest weight he has done the MGB on was 600 pounds. I had my surgery June 8 of this year and in 5 months I have lost almost 100 pounds. My surgery everything included with lifetime visits is only 23,000. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon he literally gives u his number and has u call him personally. He is so awesome. I apologize for what your doctor says, lacks empathy and compassion if u ask me. 18. If you just keep following the rule and eat well and exercise, things will work themselves out. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App My Dr told me if you are where you are a stall not loosing weight, the only thing to jump start it back is sprints. He said there will be plateaus when u don't loose however you will loose. I have lost 100 in 5 months and there were times I stalled. I'm having a hard time eating I get real nauseous. Day by day..... Goof luck hun Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
  19. I am 5 months out and have lost 100 pounds. I have went down 7 sizes. And this is still the beginning to a healthier life. Enjoy everyday and focus one day at a time. Congratulations Sent from my SCH-R970 using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Every Dr is different, My Dr you had to pay cash for the whole procedure. You couldn't use insurance. You had to do a psychological test and meet certain requirements to have the surgery. Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
  21. I'm from Oklahoma and you pay cash her no insurance will pay period. However my friend she went to Tijuana and had the sleeve done for 4,000.00 They did an awesome job on her and she lost almost 200 pounds. She's feeling good now. Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
  22. I had surgery on the same day. Good luck Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using the BariatricPal App You are very blessed your insurance paid for it. My surgeon took cash only no exceptions. He's one of the best there is plus he's a trauma surgeon. I'm very Blessed I had him instead of someone else. He gives his personal number out for you to call him anytime and he cares a lot. I haven't ever seen a Dr so into his patients and making sure everything is ok in my whole life and I have seen a lot of Dr. Good luck and be Blessed with your new journey. 23. Ok this can't be just a quirk. Does your family live by you? Is there some kind of organization around that can help you? Ask the counselor in the hospital. Are you Native American? I know this is a lot of questions however I'm just trying g to help u hunni. Sent from my SCH-R970 using the BariatricPal App
