  1. I'm almost 5 weeks out and I'm still dealing with some pain on my left side. I just saw my surgeon for my 1 month post op appt. He said it is probably muscular and is giving me pain cream so I can still function at work. Keep your team informed about your situation, everyone is different. 8. How do you guys deal with head hunger? I'm hungry, I eat the correct portion of food. The physical hunger sensation goes away however, I feel like in my head I could eat more. I don't because I don't want to get sick but I can tell this might become an issue in the future. How do I cope? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I am 6 days post loans I am experiencing the Sam anxiety about how I will tolerate my diet once it progresses. I have done really well so far with managing the pain and haven't had any nausea or vomiting. So nervous about how next few weeks weeks will progress. You have given me hope! Thank you, I'm glad I can help! It gets better, little by little! At first I was like "What the heck did I do to myself?!" But now I'm happy and I'm getting there! I still have some slight pain on my left side but I have yet to have issues with nausea or vomiting. Follow the guidelines, listen to your body and you will do great! 21. So I'm 2 weeks post-op and started my semi-solid foods today. I have been through an emotional roller coaster dealing with my food addiction since pre-op diet started. I am happy to tell that my worries have subsided because I was able to tolerate everything I tried today! Yogurt, oatmeal (watery), and a softly scrambled egg with some low fat cheese!! I was very nervous about getting stuck or nauseous or whatever but, I think because I was so worried I really paid attention to the guidelines of eating with my new pouch! So relieved!! Just wanted to add a little happy to the forum! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. I have same thing and my surgeon also said this was normal. I'm two weeks out and it does seem to be getting better Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I had my band placed in 2008 and out in 2015. I just had my bypass last week. I hated the band mostly because I never really knew when I was going to get stuck sometimes I could salad sometimes not. And I hated constantly being asked if I was stuck by my husband and I only lost 37 lbs and was able to gain it back with the band in place as well. I'm glad I had the bypass and am looking forward to actually reaching my health goals! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I'm 6 days post op and went to ER last night with dehydration. I got 2 bags of IV Fluid and felt great after. It has been so hot here and so hard to drink constantly! But I'm doing the best I can by making sure I drink at least 8 oz/hour. It's been real frustrating for me as well since I'm actually realizing the depth of my food addiction having been on liquids for 3 weeks 1 of which has been Clear Liquids. I'm still very proud that I have stuck with it and I still believe this will work and I will be happy in the end. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I'm 6 days post and yes I'm hating clear liquids! I see my surgeon on Wednesday and hope to get the okay for full liquids. I needed someone the first 3 days. I think it's best to plan for the worst. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
