  1. HI I have had problems with my gastric band for a few years now and recently had the port removed. In the meantime I am still getting chronic pain in my left side and even when I swim it pulls. To me this is the gastric band issue and I have been in A & E on various occasions in pain but they have done all tests and can't find anything which I don't believe is true, I know my body and something is not right. I don't have the money to have it removed although if needs be I am going to organise a loan because I can't cope with it anymore. Does anyone else have these issues or could give me advice on making the right decision in this regard? I don't want to waste money to have it removed and still be in pain although I can't see that happening. Any advice greatly received. Kind regards, Keely
