Does anyone know how far back bariatric Dr's will look at medical history? I met with a nut about a year ago and have been through 4 weight loss programs since 2008. I already was diagnosed with sleep Apnea so I feel like all I need to do now it see a psychologist, but not sure if they will accept me seeing the nut a year ago? Anyone else? Well, as long as you have your Fluid intake and exercise 30-40 mins daily you could lose the weight more steadily and possibly more quickly. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have heard that having a BMI to that extreme, it would be quickly moved along to prevent further weight gain and complications. But, I have also heard that a 3 month requirement of trying to lose weight on your own may have to be done. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Annie, thanks for the reply. Yes, the lady came in 2 times to adjust my wires. I think I slept about 4 hours, but felt like no sleep at all and woke up miserable. Okay, just had my sleep study last night and have my follow up is on Tuesday, June 7th. It was the most uncomfortable process. I hope I slept enough for them to see if I have sleep Apnea. Hi all, I'm new to this. So I have been signing medical release forms from my current Dr's and having them fax my history to the Bariatric Dr. I want them to have a book ready in hand when I go for my consult. I got a call today from them telling me I have to wait for consultation date. Well sorry but I want you to have it all now so we are not stalling on this process. I want it ASAP.
