The beach was a deciding factor for me also, I went to the beach last year with my dogs and almost didn't make it down to the water and then walking back was embarrassing and scary

I am checking with my nutritionist to see if I can eat potato flakes, I love mashed potatoes and I can put protein powder on them hopefully

my Bmi is similar to yours and as long as they submit your problems that are diagnosed because of being heavy you should be ok
