    Well I guess it's good they give you a preop diet. I didn't have one although I took myself off caffeine before the surgery. We were even told to eat a meal the night before surgery, a normal one, not a buffet. Everything went fine. I wonder why so many people have to do a preop liquid diet.     I am still in the process, I have sleep apnea so I have to be on the cpap machine 30 days prior to surgery so I don't have a surgery date yet.
