  1. Hello brimm-Brittany! I had my surgery on May 17th. I'm now down 56 pounds. Concentrate on your fluids for now! Now I can get a shake down in 2 sittings where as before it took me ALL DAY! Get to walking! It makes you feel better. I still have gas pains and discomforts from time to time but a good walk always gives me comfort. Good luck and keep me posted Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I experienced the same thing after my surgery. The doctor explained to me that my body had to become accustomed to the small amount of food that I am now eating. I am currently 3 months post op and feel so much better. When I'm at work now I am no longer a sloth and moving at the pace of a snail! I'm glad to say that it is the best decision I've made for myself! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. I just had my 3 month post op follow up appointment on yesterday. I am very deficient in my Vitamin d and Protein levels. I'm on target for my weight loss but starting to not feel good. I was using a patch for my vitamin supplements but was told that it seems as though I am metabolizing everything very fast. Now I have to go back to the regular Vitamins and add an additional Vitamin D pill (uggh) I'm not a very good pill taker as it is! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can become successful with this? HELP PLEASE! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
