I finally got my surgery date. It's November 16th and I'm so excited and nervous in the same breath. I'll start my liquid diet on November 4th. I'd love some feedback on how others got through this part of the process.

I'm 44 and have not received approval for my surgery yet. Sometimes I feel like no one understands what I'm going through until I get on here and I know I'm not alone. It's great to have people that are going through the same thing I'm going through to talk to and I've found that here.

I asked my surgeon what was recommended and she suggested premier protein shakes and you get them at Walmart and Sam's club. I hope this helps.
