4th of July Challenge: Red, White and Blue: Whole New You!
Good luck to everyone here. This challenge is going so much faster than I thought that it would, and starting it with a stall drove me crazy, but I know if I just keep to the plan I will move past my stalls. Plus moving too fast is not that good for us anyway right? Keep up the good work everyone.

allergy to Whey protein
I would sat that I am both lactose intolerance as well, I always have been and avoid milk at most all cost. I am not mixing my shakes with milk. I am using pre mixed premier Protein, which only has 1g. of sugar and while it does have milk protein, I thought that I might be ok with it. but now I think I will have to find another source of protein. I am going to look into some more plant base Proteins, and see if this helps.

allergy to Whey protein
I am pretty sure that I am allergic to whey protein, I have been just miserable with bloating and nausea since I started my protein shakes and the more I have drank the worse it seems to have gotten. I have been looking into other protein alternatives, please help.

Puréed food ideas please
I am in this phase right now, and I found a split pea soup in the frozen section of my grocery store that I found really good, and it had about 13 grams of protein. I hope this helps some.

When to start exercising?
Ok, I am at 3 weeks post opp or 21 days after surgery. I have hit a stall with a 3 pound gain, and I was wondering when would be a good time to start exercising. I have not been told by my Dr. to do so yet, though I am at work already, but not allowed to pick up anything. I was wondering if anyone could share when they started to exercise, and if it improved their results, or if they experienced any issues because of doing so. What types of exercise was done, etc... this could all be very helpful for me, and I am sure to others as well. Thank you.

Gained weight just 3 weeks after surgery? How!
Okay, so I am posting today because my scale says that I have gained 3 pounds, I do not understand how this is possible when I am not even eating as much as I am goaled to eat yet. I am having difficulty eating and drinking enough because I am just simply full, as well as I am very busy at work and I forget(because I am not hungry) How can a person gain weight when they are not even consuming 500 calories a day? I am so frustrated with this right now. I lost a lot to start with(20 pounds the first week home from the hospital) and was very surprised with that. Now I am hoping that this is just my body trying adjust, but I hate to see the scale go up as I know we all do.

15 days post opp
StephanieSparklePants, I think maybe you misunderstood. I'm talking about taking a bite, not eating and entire cake, or steak. I thank you for the link to explain your position. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

Ok, I curious what people thinkof taking a bite of something and chewing it, but then spitting it out. I cannot be the only one that has thought of this. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
