  1. Yep mine just growls at random - I am burping pretty much after every swallow at the moment (about 2 start week 2 of post op free liquids). I figure it will settle down eventually to the new normal. It just takes so long to drink anything - about an hour to get 200ml down at the moment.
  2. I about to get to week 2 of free fluids. No vomiting or nausea so far. I did try a little bit of plain greek yoghurt - found I can handle about 3-4 dessert spoons and thats it. I am using up my supply of Optifast at the moment - takes me around an hour to drink 200-250ml of it at the moment. Taking a couple of chewable vitamins a day as well. Getting in a bit of exercise too which is good. I'm down 14lbs since surgery on 24th May.
  3. Interesting read as a brand new sleever. I wasnt convinced about the band when I first looked at surgery two years ago. As to whether my new tool is a temporary or a permanent solution - only time and my attitude will tell!
  4. Mine have been ok - some twinges if I twist my torso. However they are all itchy as hell! LOL
  5. I'm back home too. Let out a day early. The night after surgery was a bit tough. Bad gas pain when I got upright on Wednesday and a fair bit of nausea. That seems to have passed. Sipping away on clear fluids until next Tuesday then free fluids for two weeks. Sipping through my water with a bit of benefibre in it to get the other end moving.

  11. It doesnt bother me other than the monotony so I will stick with it post op unless the new stomach disagrees. Sent from my SM-N910G using the BariatricPal App
