  1. I love bio oil. I have used it for years. I also use coconut oil. I always have kept coconut oil next to my recliner and apply it all day long. I also do not use Soup on my face not even as a child. I have always used ponds cold cream to wash my face. Good luck to you. ♡ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

  7. @@j16 The reason I picked the GB. was of how many have had other weight loss surgeries and then came back and got the GB. I did not want to do that. Good luck with whatever Journey you choose. ♡ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  8. I have never looked my age and my skin has always been my best feature. Nobody ever believes I am in my late 50s. I turned 56 in the hospital and the nurses were amazed at my age too. My biggest fear is losing that. I do not carry weight in my face if you only saw my face pictures you would never guess I was heavy. I am hoping that helps me. So as vain as it sounds that is my biggest fear. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

  10. Hi everyone! I am Ele I am 4 weeks out today. I have lost 17 pounds plus the 40 pounds I lost pre-op. I am so glad to be here some how I was on the sleeve forum and just about every rule is different. It was giving me a headache so glad to be among my own experiences and with people my age Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  11. @olehippie Have you tried premier it has 30 grams of Protein and it doesn't taste bad Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

  13. I agree with him you will need the small children's plates and bowls even the spoons help I also drank from a sippy cup at first because it only allows a little bit of liquid at a time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  14. My Doctor put us on Vitamin regiment pre-op from the first visit which was 6 months before surgery. He changed things up like the Multivitamin had to be chewable and it was something that had to be added. But he also made us bring the Vitamins with us on the last appointment before surgery to show that we had them we were told if we did not show him the surgery date would be changed. Funny how each doctor is different. My advice is to get the list of vitamins and the food menu and have it ready before surgery also be sure to have your Protein drinks I highly recommend premiere it has 30 grams of protein. Good luck with your new Life. ♡ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

  17. Outside mat. I use this from my phone. I think I will just delete the app. I do not know how to use it. I am so sorry I offended people here was not my intention. I wish you all great success.
  18. KristenLe I have only been fat the last 4 years in my whole life and really did not feel the psychologist who evaluated me needed to know that. 4 years in my whole life is alot different than someone who has had the struggle for all of Thier life. I know more about diet and healthy eating then you think. Right now I am just following the doctor's orders. I will get back to myself very soon. And from there I know what to do. And I do follow my doctor's orders. Here is my menu. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  19. Dub I had know idea that I was on a sleeve forum? I thought this was for all weight loss surgeries. That makes a lot of sense. Is there different Forums on this app? Or do you know? I have been getting so beat up on stuff I say. Maybe that is why. Of course I know a sleeve person does not have a pouch. And my straw comment would not apply to them. Thank you for letting me know this is for sleeves. I will try and find my people. Good luck on your journey and thank you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

  21. If you have gastric bypass please just ask your doctor about the straw. I would listen to him not veteran sleevers. There is more information on it online from doctors which include the ulcer comment. But it is better to just ask your doctor. I have a feeling if I brought back a doctors note on it. I would still be called a liar. Haters going to hate. Personally I could careless if you stretch your pouch or get an ulcer. I tried to warn you. Again this is to gastric bypass. 22. Iipstick lady if you look you can see I can have Beans as well as banana. On the bigger list it says only half a banana. And for the record I only blended that once with my premier and yogurt. Because it made even more drink I had a little and sipped on it for lunch put the rest in the fridge the next day I threw it away it smelled horrible. But you can think whatever you want. In the end my success will tell my story. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  23. Renkoss thank you that is all I can do is try and that is what I am doing. I am going to post my menu below all the soft foods are not listed in do have others from the bigger list. And It also shows what can be added in 6 weeks in. 24. The cauliflower soup is a blended cream soup, the cabbage soup is a clear broth soup and the cabbage leafs are pureed. So is the tomato soup. And the onion soup. I also can eat Beans as long as they are also pureed. I am allowed several choices of pureed vegetables such as carrots as well and Beets. Just not corn. And like I said all my soups are homade so I do not have the sugar or anything else in it. I am also allowed skinless fruits. Maybe your doctor is just not like my doctor. I do not know what to tell you. I did not know that my diet was diffraction than others. All of the above are included in my soft foods menu. I wish I knew how to take a picture of my menu and post it from here but everytime I take a picture I lose the thread. I don't know if my diet is different than the sleeve I wasn't told. Or if it has just changed since you had surgery. But I can assure you I am not the kind of person who would eat anything at all that I can't have. I am the person who will not eat something even if I am allowed if I know it is not that good for you. Like once carbs like Rice and Pasta and stuff like that. I am also allowed Melba toast and crackers. Right now but I do not eat them ( I don't know why that is considered soft food? ) but it is on my diet for soft food until 6 weeks. I will take a picture of the menu. To have it on here incase you wish to see that my advise giving to others is because that is what I been told to eat.
