  1. Very encouraging! @@Nicki24 that is definitely my biggest fear, going under and never waking back up to my children and husband.
  2. When I think about it my heart beats harder!! I'm so nervous knowing my life changing surgery is literally days away. Is there anyone who would be sharing the same surgery date with me or around the same time?

  4. What were some of the foods/liquids you ate and drank post-op??
  5. I'm currently attending my support groups, changed my diet, exercising more but I'm thinking it may not be enough after surgery. I just wanted to know a few ideas that you all may have that I could be missing...
  6. @@Tina4heath4ever my kids are too young in my option to understand. my boys are 9,7 and 1. My 9 year old ask me everyday "is this the day mommy?" LOL

  9. I guess I need to clarify my topic. I was asking because some doctors actually require a person to get the gastric bypass procedure done instead of the sleeve if your a certain weight. So I was asking with that in mind. I'm well aware of the requirements to have the sleeve done because I'm in the process of trying to figure out what will work best for me.

  11. Going in soon to meet with my surgeon for the second time on June 8th. The same doctor removed my gallbladder some years ago. I'm super excited!
  12. Anyone morbidly obese or have had the surgery that was?
  13. I still haven't told my co-workers and don't plan on it until I'm scheduled to leave for a few weeks. Its none of their business what I'm doing. I'm a very straight forward person but private at the same time especially when it comes to my personal issues and health.
