  2. I've been on a Bariatric studying binge for the last month. I feel like I could perform the surgery if I had to. I also contacted my insurance company and they said they'd mailed me a copy of my benefits regarding BS so Im glad I'm headed in the right path. Thank you all for responding. 5. Hi my name is Jane and I've recently decided to talk to my primary doc about gastric sleeve surgery, but I'm unsure of how to approach this. I'm also unsure if he'll ok me. Or if my insurance will approve. I have BCBSIL PPO through my employer and they do cover Bariatric surgery. I weigh about 295 and I'm 5'3 and for some reason I think in order for me to get the ok I would need to weigh a lot more. I don't really have and underlining health issues except for the constant stiffness and body pains I feel because of my weight. I'm so lost here. I'm curious to know how much other ppl weighed and how long was the wait to have the surgery after your initial convo with your primary doc. PLEASE if someone could shed a little light I'd be so grateful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
