March 2016 Starting 244 before surgery. April 235 then prep diet down to 225. then 219 post VGS now June 212-214. Diet: yogurt and Protein shake. Turkey salad. Grapefruit Walk about 8000 to 10000 step daily . Sent from my LG-LS995 using the BariatricPal App

I'm with you did not lose much weight at all its just so sad. just want to stay covered and cry. 219 after VGS now just 212-214 around and around I go. just pittyfull

What do you eat and what type of exersice do you do? Was weight loss in the first few months slow? Not lossing much weight now feeling so sad.

DB2 for over 16 yrs and insulin depent 3x day with metformin had VGS 4/27. Now no insulin it took about a week after VGS. Working on metformin to be eliminated but has not happened. Must be careful to eat and drink, at first sign of feeling slightly funny take your blood sugar. I'm a Nurse Coordinator for Intensive Care ...must take care of everything patients nurses families and Hospital needs. Just took off 2 1/2 weeks. 2 was plenty. Long hours 12~15. I make sure to take drinking breaks and meal breaks. Take care of self first then others. Get up and walk it works. I feel great much more energy just cant believe its me. Funny you said that ,i fell straight too sleep last night. Today had first week post op office visit weighted in at 219 LBS progress. Must work on getting to 10000 steps now.

I will try some Jello did make it with Protein drink. Its evening and i hid myself all day from the kitchen. Hey silly things work for me the kitchen is down the hall away from my room thank God.

​ I need to refocus... I have hunger pains... just want to chew and swallow now !!! 3 weeks of just liquids and one more to go
