  1. I am having a lot of trouble getting all my meds down. I did a couple days of vitamins/Nexium and did fine but then I had to add two antibiotics for my H. Pylori bacteria in my stomach. Thats when it all went down hill. I have a very difficult time getting them down without vomiting and after I do I will be nauseous for hours. I will wretch and sometimes vomit hours later. I am not sure what to do with this. I have been just doing the two antibiotics and the Nexium because this is necessary to prevent ulcers until I see the doc Thursday. Any ideas?
  2. My doctor met with me twice before surgery. I had 3 meetings with the dietitian and exercise physiologist. They gave me a book with great information in it. I use it a lot. I also did a lot of my own research.
  3. Oh my gosh...swabs only was the WORST. I am struggling to get up to my goal in Water and Protein. Its been tough. It just feels funny. It will be 2 weeks for me on Monday.
  4. I know how you feel. I had my sleeve on 06/13 and I am struggling. I am having difficulty with just Water. Just hang in there!
  5. I haven't! That sounds like such a good idea because I am having trouble getting all my protein and jello is the only thing I have been able to really tolerate.
  6. My husband stayed with me until just before I went back to surgery. He left afterward and didn't come back until later that night. He had to work and I told him since he is not a doctor he wouldn't be able to do anything if anything went wrong. They took his number down and they called him and told him how everything went. It gave me time to relax and recover afterward without distraction. The hospital was cool with it.
  7. I am in the KC Metro. I am having surgery in June. I am so nervous. Its getting so close to the date!
