Not gonna lie. I definitely did!! I had to lose a few pounds before approval and I killed myself to do it but as soon as I got my surgery date, and I knew I was gonna be on all liquids for two days before surgery, I went a little nuts the week before surgery. I gained like 6 pounds before surgery and thank goodness it did not interfere with my surgery date.

It hurts when I breathe and I can feel all of the bubbles gurgling through my body! I've been walking a lot and taking gas ex strips but nothing seems to be helping

It's crazy because I was told when I left the hospital that I could do all stage 3 foods. I guess everybody is different

Ok, so I am 5 days post op and have only been able to tolerate liquids so far. I just tried egg beaters for the first time and the pain was excruciating?!! Why????

Ok so I was sleeved on April 13, 2016 and have had the worst upper body pain since I got out of surgery. My shoulders and upper back are so sore. I was told it was gas from them pumping it into my belly during surgery but it still hurts so bad. I have been walking and taking Gas ex strips but it doesn't seem to be helping?! It's also causing it to be very painful when I swallow anything! Almost like there's too much air in there ?!!

I was sleeved on April 13, 2016. I'm about 4-5 days out. I also have not had a BM but my doc told me it could take around 7-10 days. She gave me a prescription for stool softener. I really haven't eaten much at all since my surgery. No solids what so ever. Just a few sips of Protein shakes and carnation instant Breakfast. Also some Water and decaf tea. Drinking is still painful. I had a hernia repair also during my sleeve surgery, so I'm guessing that's why . I still have tons of air through out my body which is giving upper back and shoulder pain
