  1. I use a straw. I actually get less air when I use a straw. I drink 3x the fluids with a straw. Without a straw I struggled to do 20oz a day. I'm sure both ways are acceptable. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. @@jaxmom yes that is a baby skunk named flower. Unfortunately he escaped from his enclosure at the farm where he lived. That was one of the best moments of my life holding him. So so cute ❤️. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Thank you everyone for the encouragement and kind words. It's not the progress that has me feeling this way. It's just overwhelming depression out of nowhere. I just want to know it won't be like this forever. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Tomorrow is three weeks since my VSG. My SO and I both had the surgery, he was two weeks ahead of me. Our post-op recoveries couldn't be more opposite. He is losing weight so fast, looks AMAZING, he feels amazing and has so much energy. I am losing a decent amount of weight, I look the same, I am depressed and feel very down. I can't help but feel that this surgery won't bring us closer but will eventually tear us apart. I can't help but worry that this will open so many doors for him and he will eventually choose someone else. I cry myself to sleep a lot. I can't get happy no matter how hard I try. It's like that part of me was removed with my stomach. I don't want to be like this anymore. I definitely don't want to be on medication. Someone please tell me this will go away. 9. On May 17 I had sleeve done with hiatal hernia repair. I have hunger. Like the way I felt before surgery when your stomach would growl. All day. Non stop. And when I drink, hiccups and lots of burping. Try and have something like Soup or whatever, pain bloating hiccups and burping. I feel like I made a mistake. Anyone else have this?
