  1. Hi, I'm just looking for a little support and advice please. Stats: Sleeve performed on 11/15/16 - 4 days in hospital, 1 ER vist first month dehydrated, discomfort and pressure since, 3 months prescribed PPI and Carafate, 4 months ER visit with chest pain - stomach and intestinal discomfort - Reflux. I was told to go back onto phase 3 diet (pureed). With the PPI the pressure is slightly better. Complete food aversion during the first month - minimally improving. Swallowing is OK but different since the surgery. Regurgitation with everything even liquids - this is improved with the PPI but gets worse leading up to and during menses. Sarcoid: Surgeon was thinking that my Sarcoid may be partially to blame (pressure on the esophagus) however my Pulmonologist disagrees and will not treat. Menses: During my menses (diagnosis of adenomyosis and endometriosis) I have complete GI involvement. I can not eat food and the pressure is intense from my shoulders to my hips. My Gynecologist suggested a hysterectomy or medicinal menopause. I do not feel I could go through another surgery right now. I do have the OK from my bariatric surgeon but I feel so weak. I was also not keen on the medication regimen that I would need to take if I were to go the other route (medication induced menopause). My doctor suggested I return when I was ready to do one of those two options. She will not use medications for the pain (narcotics don't work for this pain and discomfort, anti-inflammatories do) because "she's a gynecologist not a bariatric surgeon so I don't know what you can take". I was on an NSAID before surgery. Hunger: I go from starving to sick in a blink of an eye. It often feels like I will never be satiated again. Then I feel so nervous about what I eat and if it's going to cause pain and regurgitation that there is really no reason to eat anything. Thank you for any suggestions or insights you can offer!!
