I have insulin resistance and have been on Metformin off and on for 7years. It's so hard on my stomach and have to always know where the nearest bathroom is located. . I was hoping to hear success stories of those of you who were diagnosed with Insulin Resistance and have seen results after the gastric sleeve. Does this sound like anyone? I'm in the consultation phase. Having my surgery at Mayo Clinic, but do not have a surgery date yet. I'm self pay, have Aetna insurance but my plan doesn't cover anything to do with weight loss. Hello! I'm a newbie to the site and have really enjoyed reading everyone's questions, experiences and comments. I have met with my coordinator and scheduled to meet with the Bariatrician April 6th. Hoping to have my surgery in June. (I'm a self pay) I have a question that I haven't found yet. How soon after gastric sleeve surgery can you sleep on your stomach?
