  1. Funny ... I just asked this, question at the seminar and doc said it can stretch...hmmmm. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App Our NUT told us in a class that the carbonation in soda can expand our sleeve and stretch it out.Double hmm...why are we being lied to?? I also have a conspiracy theory on the cpap, so I'm probably just suspicious all the way around. Lol Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  2. Isn't it funny, my skinny friends are always supportive whenever I have brought up wls. They always tell me to do whatever it takes to make myself happy. Hey have had breast augmentation so they never seem to judge anyone wanting to feel good about themselves. Still, I'm not going to tell them when I have it. I don't want anyone really knowing my business. I'm already thinking about laying the groundwork, like by posting on Facebook about my walks and working out and Protein diet. I feel shady but dangit, it's my right! Lol Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  3. Lol. My classmates have had her for make up classes and complained big time over her! Glad you got through all that! :-) Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  4. Not sure if you're on here anymore, but was her name Charlie? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  5. Probably every place is different with their way of doing things. I'm going through Kaiser and they do the 6 months of classes. They in turn are contracted with Pacific Bariatric and that's where they hold all the power! Haha. Meaning, that's where I'll do my psych eval, more stuff, etc. I really don't know all the details but that's what I'm kind of finding out in my Options classes! 6. My last class is April 27th. Then I hear it's about a month or two from there to having surgery! I totally hear you on getting excited. I keep playing with the calendar trying to figure out the best date options for myself and my family. We are getting close!!! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  7. Oh great idea, Lisa!! I know I've been told I'll be up and about and walking, but those days in the hospital I'm definitely going to want to stockpile the meals for my family! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  8. Thank you for your tips! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  9. Tiffani, can I ask your stats? I'm 5'5" and weigh 260. Wondering if I should just go ahead and stalk your progress now since I'm about 4 months behind you - surgery hopefully in July for me! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

  11. Hi Everyone. Do I start by introducing myself and my stats? I've been lurking and learning from you all for a little while now and feeling so excited for my journey! Started the required 6 months of Options classes through Kaiser, and have 4 more classes to go. Wow. I've been thinking about the double straining of Soup. Is anyone prepping meals and freezing them yet or anything? Or do you recommend doing that? My husband watches those zombie prepper shows sometimes, so maybe that is rubbing off on me, haha. I just had some oral surgery, and I feel like it's showing me how it will be, drinking only broth and eating mushy foods. I can tell I will miss "chewing" greatly in those first few stages!!!! So glad to be here. Glad I found this site!! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
