i am approved but not by the dr who i have been going to for over 6 months his staff has reallly given me a hard hard time almost from the very first day.i got with some friends who suggested another dr i consulted with him and he approved me i had lost all faith in my first dr just because of his staff they dont know how to deal with the public at all and they have been very demeaning to me from day 1 i have talked with a lot of people and they all agree with me the things that one of his staff said to me was well worse than terrible just to put it nicely on my part cause what i am at some point of time cant be repeated here anyway and i will not say here i just know that when u do evil to others or wrong others it will come back to u and it will haunt u too so beware you people

:sad_smile:today i got the news i have been approved for my lapband i am really excited cant believe it i at one time didnt think i would ever hear those words your approved it has been a long long battle for me the other surgeons office really gave me a hard time putting hurdles before me that no one in the world could jump over oh well i am glad i really dont have to deal with those chumps any more

i am beginning to believe that because i stood up for my self that the staff at the surgeons office is aqainest me having my surgery they have done every thing in their power to keep me from having the surgery even saying i am not mentally stable enough for the procedure i have received notes from all my drs saying i am mentally stable and a good candidate for the procedure personally i think all the surgeons staff has no training on dealing with people and they all are in the wrong line of work

please pray that i will soon get approval for the lapband procedure

hello my name is carol and i am from monroe nc i am in the process for having the lapband but so far it has been a long process at one time i did feel like giving up but know that this is the best thing for me i have completed all the test and evaluations now i am just waiting for the surgeons office to get everything together and get it to the insurance for there approval prayers are requested so that i will soon get my lapband procedure

i have been going thru the process for having the wt loss surgery for a long time i at one time wanted to give up but i havent as it is paid for and i know i must just wait no matter how long it takes i just wanted it before my birthday but that doesnt seem possible now they told me that all they r waiting on is my ekg reports so it looks like i am just around the corner for me i look in the mail everyday for a letter or something but so far i have received nothing i havent received a phone call either i hate to keep calling the drs office as i feel that they should call me i just need everyones prayers as i hope my voyage will soon be over

hello i am a 61 years old and Iam planning on having lapband serg as soon as I can get it scheduled. Iam going thru the long process to get approved i am just beginning though.Ihave readybegib to collect my old medical records and to get them faxed to the surgeon and have already contacted my insurance companies.They will pay 100% for their part both humanna and medicare.Itcovers weight loss surgery.if it is a medical necessities. My BMI is 49.9 Iam100 pounds over weight also plus Ihave some co-morbidities such as diabetes highb.p high cholesterol.arthritis inmy knees i also have fibromyalgia. I HAVE aproblem with depression and incontience. :thumbup:
