Mine is 7:30 am my time which would be 9:30 your time I started my liquids yesterday too and I'm doing really well except I'm having a hard time drinking 3 protien drinks a day yesterday I only drank one :/ but also had some broth Jello and popsicles. The statistics on mortality during or after wls are so low you're more likely to die in a car crash or plane crash for that matter. Let's just stay positive and think about "when I wake up" not "if" I'm sure after its all said and done with it will have all been so worth it. My surgery is july 12th First day was a success although it's taco Tuesday and I have a weakness for Mexican food. But I'm staying strong went out and bought 12 packs of sugar free gum today in an assortment of flavors it helps every time I think about earing something I shouldn't I just chew gum! I'm the 12th I'm super nervous too like what if I go under anesthesia and never wake back up I'm only 24 I have so much left to do on this earth but then I think that if I don't do this how long will I really be around anyways? Or what kind of life would it be ? Probably lonely and meaningless.... I've lost 57 lbs so far on my own and just started my pre op liquid diet today. I'm so so nervous but I'm also excited for the results, and for the life I have waiting for me afterwards. At the size and weight I am I have severe pcos and have been told I am infertile. I had my upper gi scope test done today and they found a hiatal (stomach) hernia which my surgeon said he will try to repair during surgery. Has anyone else had this? So tomorrow I have my preop scope procedure I'm pretty nervous just bc I'll be going under anesthesia. I also learned that today everything was sent to the insurance and now we're just waiting to hear back from them to be able to schedule a surgery date. I'm excited, nervous, anxious, and terrified all at the same time. Did anyone else have to have the scope preop precedure? How did u react to the anesthesia? So I'm currently still pre op w/ surgery tentitively in late June but I've noticed a few NSVs that I'm quite proud of! First of all I got on my scale at home and I was actually able to weigh myself before it would always say "error" or "ol" for over load... I know encouraging words right? Not! Lol my second NSV is that before when I got into my car my stomach touched /rubbed against the steering wheel I'm pretty short and have to sit kinda close to reach the brake haha. But now (I have not moved my seat) there's about 3 inched between me and the wheel! Again I'm still preop but I'm loving these results already and actually seeing a different is amazing! So far I've lost 40 lbs and hoping to lose 20 more before surgery!!! What are some of your NSV 's? Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
