  5. I just ate for the first time the other day so I am still learning what full or satisatisfied feels like. It's different for everyone. My friend says she gets a tightness under her breastbone or in her chest others full feels like they did before surgery. Thanks I have a list of ideas just really want mashed potatoes and I see alot of ppl eat them just didn't know I'd 14 days out was ok and he did my 1 week follow up in the hospital before I discharged ( I had to stay a few extra days because I couldn't get in enough fluids) so now I don't go back to him until the end of april.   18. I am exactly 14 days post-op from having gastric bypass. I haven't had any food in 3 weeks. Is it ok for me to eat mashed potatoes? If so should I make them really thin?
