Maybe the best thing to do wpuld be keep a cooler with you with shakes and yogurts and stuff a long with Protein powders. I am work at a factoring company where we do the receivables for truckers. We purchase their loads once done so they get paid immediately instead of having to wait. I actually have two truckers as clients who have had WLS surgery and both keep coolers in their trucks full of shakes cottage cheese and so on. One even has a case of Beans at all times. They have done really well. Hoping that helps a little

Yes!!! Please don't give up!! These insurance companies want people to give up so they can get away without paying for surgery! I have wondered the same thing. I have 3 people in my life that got the surgery but as soon as they could they started back with their old habits and gained it all back. I'm deciding to learn from their mistakes and be very vigilant with this tool cuz I have fought hard for it. Just got my approval today after 2 denials! Haha, Thanks sleevyk!! Rydersmama, I started at 330. Surgery weight was 323 lbs, I weighed in this morning at 158 lbs. I've lost 172 lbs since my very first orientation visit with my doctor. Unfortunately I can't call cigna directly because it's through a third party called Group Administrators. They do all the work and cigna pays. It's been so hard going through then because they have everything I can possibly give them... it's just like oh well we need this. We need more of this.. we need some of this. For example the first denial only listed needing pulmonary clearance blood work and lap band approval and operative report back from 2008. I get them all of that Second denial. We need reason for removal and you gained a pound during your supervised weightloss. Both of those things weren't mentioned in first denial. It's like why didn't they just put all that in the first denial? I appriciate your response I'm really just gibber jabbering. Haha. Being able to run and play with my daughter. Going to the zoo and actually being a it to go through the whole thing instead if finding places to rest while my husband takes her around.
