Hi ! Last week the office called and said they verified with insurance and my first appt is Monday 14th to see the doctor and psychologist. I've been trying to find what my insurance requires for approval and am having no luck. Today I got in the mail a benefits summary but it still doesn't show requirements etc? It also had included a paper for me to approve the office to discuss with them anything with my insurance etc. anyone else ? I have anthem BCBS Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

i need this tool (sleeve) combined with the added knowledge (nationalist) to start a new me,, new ways.

That was my thing i didnt want to say too much to get kicked out or idunno im nerveous lol I have tried what i knew,, extremly low car, (eggs only- which i knew was not a lifestyle but a quik few pounds that came back ten fold) and low calorie.. Im an over eater,,, i know thats my issue... and drinks.

did you do a 6 month work up? im just starting the process (first appt 14th ) so im curious your stages.

Same question ! What do they want to hear? that u can lose weight but gain it back? or what lol i LOVE all food good and bad,,,, i can eat salads all day long,, but i have portion control issues.

Just looking to see what others say,, i dont want to give to much info and not enough.. Is there something they are looking for? I love all foods,, my issue is portion control.

Hmm well i hope my family doctor will write the letter than if needed. Ill write up a weighloss history also. i have two things ive tried in last two years. have you all ever wondered if you lost too much if they would deny you? i know thats crazy but worried,

Im new, quick run thru, Im 30 weight 258 height 5-6 BMI (around 41-42) high bp, osteoarthritis, hietal hernia, im going to my first appointment with Surgery Center Monday 5/14/16 i have formed a MY JOURNEY book in it : -medical history - lots of surgeries- -medical list -allergy list -pathway to success (their step by step program listed online) -my current insurance info and extra copies of id/medical etc. She said i will see the doctor and they Physc this date. And to expect to be there a few hours at min. What info can you give me about the inital visit,, and what the psych says needs etc. My family doctor did not send me there,,, as i rarely see him... so will he oversea me? or will i just follow thru with the doctor at center?
